my husband is from a hindu and chinese parentage. so since his conversion to Islam three years ago, he now, as do i, am privileged to be celebrating the festivities of all three races/religions. although we may not do so by spending our time with his side of the family, i am pretty sure they have us both in their minds and hearts during the time of year.
so looks like we'll be missing diwali celebrations again this year. nonetheless for those who are celebrating, may the glow of peace, joy and prosperity illuminate your homes this diwali
